Reimagining the Seller Experience

Why should you have to invite a real estate agent into your home just to find out what their services cost?

Throughout my real estate career, I’ve participated in more role-play, sales training, coaching sessions, and prospecting calls than I can count.

And there’s one question that always seems to make the conversation uncomfortable:

“What do you charge?”

The traditional response?

Something vague.

Maybe:

“Why don’t we schedule a time for me to come over, and that will be one of the first things we discuss?”

I’ve heard different versions of it for years.

And frankly…

It’s exhausting for everyone.

The seller asked a perfectly reasonable question. They want to understand what the service costs before deciding whether it’s worth exploring further.

Why shouldn’t they get a straight answer?

No More Tap Dancing

As I begin this new chapter with eXp Realty, I’m also reimagining the seller experience.

And one of the first things I’m changing is the conversation around cost.

No tap dancing. No mystery. No waiting until I’m sitting at your kitchen table.

Ask me what my services cost.

I’ll tell you.

Then I’ll explain what you’re getting for that money, what isn’t included, what may be negotiable, and how the entire compensation structure works.

Because transparency isn’t simply telling someone a number.

It’s giving them enough information to decide whether the value makes sense.

And that’s where the conversation gets much more interesting.

Cost Matters. So Does What You Get for It.

I don’t believe sellers should choose representation based solely on the lowest cost.

Selling a home involves positioning, preparation, professional marketing, buyer behavior, negotiation, contract management, problem solving—and protecting a tremendous amount of your equity.

The question shouldn’t simply be:

“What do you charge?”

It should also be:

“What am I getting in return?”

That’s the conversation I want sellers to have.

Clear costs.

Clear expectations.

Exceptional representation and care.

And a relentless focus on protecting your equity.

Go Ahead. Test Me.

If you’re thinking about selling, you don’t have to schedule an appointment to learn how I approach compensation.

Call me: 908-601-4934.

Ask me what I charge.

Ask me why.

Ask me what’s included.

Ask me what isn’t.

I’ll explain everything you need to know so you can make a decision that makes sense for both your nervous system and your pocket.

And if, after hearing it, you decide I’m not the right fit?

That’s okay too.

Clarity should come before commitment.

That’s part of reimagining the seller experience.
