Having been a residential realtor in New Jersey for 21 years, I have seen almost every possible scenario that one can see.  And still, I persist.

Real estate seems like it is easy; show a few houses, do a little paperwork and pick up your check in the end.  But, the reality is you need to work with people coming from all types of situations with all kinds of personalities. You need to be part psychologist, detective, interior designer and conversationalist. You also are responsible to guide people in selecting a home that will meet their needs for the present and future or market the current house and make sure it is priced correctly and looks the best it can in order to sell quickly, at the highest price. And, you need to make sure you don’t put your client at risk in any way.  Plus, there are a lot of details and forms to fill out and inspections to schedule.  To be successful you must be extremely organized. I can honestly say I have all of the above skillsets and take my responsibility very seriously, yet do it with a sense of humor as I go along.

My secret sauce is to keep all the balls in the air and make the process as fun and stress-free as possible.  As a buyer’s agent I love the thrill of the hunt and pride myself in listening to wants and needs so we can quickly find that gem. If the house my buyer longs for is not on the market, I have been known to knock on doors in the neighborhood until I find someone who is ready to sell. It is about going that extra mile.

As a seller’s agent, I know how to price a home appropriately, how the house should be staged to make sure it is appealing and get it sold in the shortest amount of time. I don’t want to ever waste anybody’s time, so it is very important to be realistic in pricing a home and set expectations right away.

I have enjoyed meeting many different people and I can honestly say, most of my clients are the best!
